Faith is a beautifully balanced blend of grit, heart, and working instinct, with a pedigree rooted in some of the most accomplished and respected Border Collies in both the UK and the U.S.

 

Her sire, Burndale Ben, is a powerful import from the UK (primarily Wales), now living and working in the United States where he’s turning heads in cattle trials from horseback, handling outruns up to a mile, and excelling in sheep trials as well. Faith’s dam, GCR Grace, comes from equally impressive lines. Grace is sired by Broken Circle BC’s Red Rover, a talented trial winner and all-around exceptional ranch dog. On her dam’s side, Grace shares lineage with the legendary BC Grundy, who made headlines when she sold for $30,000—a record-setting price—after winning the Red Bluff Trials in California.

 

Rocky and Robin Brown of Broken Circle started Grace for us at just 9 months old. When we came to pick her up, Rocky said, “She’s a Grundy,” —a nod to the immense talent and potential she displayed right from the start.

 

From that incredible foundation comes Faith—one of the calmest Border Collies we’ve ever known. Gentle and composed around people, she transforms the moment she steps in with livestock. On cattle, she’s electric—full of drive, presence, and precision, much like her sire and our own GCR Texas.
