Happy 6 months’ birthday to all of GCR Joyfull and GCR MFR Scotty’s littermates! I have an update for Daisy. She is now 6 months young and weighs 30 pounds. She gets her vitamins every morning and is in the middle of a growth spurt. Some days she looks bigger when I return home from work compared to that morning. She is always happy to see me at the end of the day. She typically gets 3 - 4 hours of exercise a day. She is smart, active, and sometimes stubborn. She is independent and knows what she wants. But we are working on it and she is a quick learner. She has an older brother who is a lab mix. When I introduced them to each other on her Gotcha Day, they were initially a little wary of each other. But now, they absolutely adore each other and are completely inseparable. Her older brother does not let her fuss. If she is hungry or wants to potty, he will come and make sure I take her of his baby sister. Likewise, if he barks at someone outside, she will immediately join in, ears at alert, looking very serious, even though it's clear she has no idea what he's barking at in the first place. It's very cute to see them take care of each other. In summary, she is sweet, adorable, and maturing into a well adjusted young dog.
